I lost my iPhone a couple of weeks ago, I left it in a cab by mistake... I tried the obvious things, phoning the cab company, phoning the phone, I even emailed myself knowing my email account also logs in on the phone.

Anyway i've had no luck, what I was wondering is whether there is anyway of location my iPhone remotely? I was running 1.1.4 I also had it jailbroken with the Navizon app?

Any ideas?

It would be nice if there was a "Back to My Mac" (or whatever it's called) with the new Me.com setup. Or sign up for that social networking thing that allows you to track for friends cells. You should be able to track your phone then.

Hey,

When my sister was in Berlin, the cab driver answered the phone and later on returned it. However, my sister was only able to keep in touch with him because the first time she called, the driver gave her his phone number.

When the driver would have never answered the first time, my sister would have gone to the office. (She had called the cab service). If you picked up the cab on the street, chances are that you can locate the cab driver and his office. Cabs working in an area, usually belong to the same firm (or union). Once you locate the firm, describe your driver to the person in the office.

Say you are also offering a reward. Drivers will not want on their records to be spotted by their firm as possible pickpocketers, neither firms will want to have this image for their customers.

Be prepared for a "sorry, bla, bla, bla .....". There is also a possibility the man who took your ipod was another passenger. I hope it helps.

Kind regards,

P.S. The taxi driver who returned the phone to my sister in Berlin was of Kurdish/Turkish origin.
