For the life of me, I can't get location-based Reminders to work anymore. First on my iPhone XS, and now on my new 13. They are set for "arriving at [my] home" or "arriving at [my] office, and nothing happens. Location services is on, and on for Reminders, and I'm stumped.

When you are at the locations set for a reminder, does the current location status match the address set for your home and office?

I had a problem using location reminders with my home address because Apple Maps would often see me as being next door, since the homes as close etc. As such, I wouldn't get the reminder most of the time.

Thanks! Are you asking what my location in the Maps app says? It shows me just barely next door. If that is indeed the issue, how could I fix it? I have "Precise Location" toggled ON under Reminders in Location Services.

You answered what I was asking. You have the same problem as me. As far as I am aware, there is nothing you can do to fix the problem, as that is an Apple Maps / satellite issue, because addresses are so close together.

Some days Apple Maps gets the location address right but, most of the time at home, it sees me as next door and that is why the reminder doesn't trigger.

Only solution I find is to create a Shortcut (Automation) where when connected to selected WiFi at home / work set reminder list should be opened (each place has to have separated list)

Just started getting this issue recently but it’s not with all reminders. Some of them fire and some don’t.

No problems here.

Make sure the location is right and the field for the location is as small as it can be.

Also what app is this causing the issue?

I’m experiencing that my arriving and leaving home automations no longer get triggered in HomeKit, probably same cause

They haven't been working for me for quite a long time, though they did use to work pefectly fine some time ago. Actually, a long time ago. I've stopped trying, and now I simply set them to fire around the time I estimate I will be at home.

Do you have the “me” contact card set up correctly with your address? (Settings / Contacts / My Info - select contact card)

This is crazy. I cannot get it to do anything. I've set things up for arriving at home and arriving at work, and it gives me no notifications at all. I'm correct that location reminders don't also need dates or times, right? It should just be the next occurrence of the specified location.

They've worked for me in the past, and I'm sure I'm setting them up the same. Stymied.

UPDATE: I revised a couple of these with the additional caveat of a choice day (today), and they're still not working. I also created a few through Siri (remind me about this email when I get to work tomorrow," and they were created perfectly...but did nothing.
