Is there a way I can tell my iPhone to turn wifi off when I'm not at my house? It's kind of annoying to turn it off and on based upon where I am. I just don't want it constantly scanning when I won't be using it, anyway.

Or is there a setting I'm missing?

From the WiFi settings menu you can tell it not to scan for WiFi. That doesn't turn the WiFi antenna off, it just stops the annoying pop-ups every time it finds a signal. Another angle on this would be a setting that turned off the antenna when you left your home. As far as I know, it can't be done with the current setup, but I'd imagine that it would eat more battery than simply leaving the antenna on as it uses the GPS to know when you've left an area.
