I recently move to a different state and then upgraded to Yosemite. Apple Maps shows me at my previous address (not just the old city/state, but also street address).

My contact info in Contacts is current.

The router I am using here was here when I got to the new address.

My Airport extreme and computer came from the old address but I cannot find any reference on system to the old address.

Any ideas? I am sure I am overlooking something simple.

Thanks in advance.

Wild guess: wifi SSID same name as old place?

Guessing the wifi geolocation databases on the interwebs have your SSID and MAC address (maybe the BSSID?) of the router in the database with GPS coords from the old location. And has not been updated as yet.

Have not heard of a way to manually update the various wifi GPS databases. Turn on your phone's GPS and hope the various databases get updated in due time based on what your phone provides and any one else driving by that finds your wifi.

SSID was changed... but you probably nailed it with the geolocation databases as the MAC obviously has not changed....will be patient. Thanks!
