I HUNGER
I'm wondering if the bottom of the DI eats into the screen further down than the bottom of the notch? The DI def looks narrower than the notch though.

Technically yes, it sits slightly lower. However, it shouldn't be a big deal because every since Apple started putting Notches on phones they also created developer guidelines that encourage developers to keep a pretty generous buffer zone between content and the notch. So there is room for the new notch to move down slightly and not effect usable display space.

It’s a big deal when you watch videos in landscape.

It shouldn't matter for that either. There isn't a common video format that currently fills up the entire display area. 16:9 and 4:3 video are no where close to the notch currently. 21:9 does bump up against the 13 notch, but there is actually plenty of empty space on the non-notched end of the phone to shift the video player over.

I say "shouldn't" because its totally possible Apple/devs will **** up and its a problem on day one that people will need to complain about for a fix.
