Simply put, I can't get them to work correctly. When I add one, it puts it under tasks for some reason.

I say:

"Remind me to put the garbage out when I arrive home"

Siri says, "should I add it."

I say yes.

Under tasks it says

When I get home, put the garbage out.

It does not actually set up a location reminder. What garbage!

Which Reminders list is set as your default? I believe location-based reminders only work on iCloud Reminders lists so, while I could be wrong, it's my understanding that one of those needs to be your default.

Oh

It was using my work tasks. Disabled that and it seems to work better, thanks!

Cool, glad that works. When I open the Reminders.app it always opens first to the Tasks list (Exchange for work) despite it not being the default list, which I find quite annoying. I can live with it though. Cheers!

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then scroll to the very bottom where you should see the Reminders section and an option to specify the default list.

Maybe that option is only available if you have more than one option??

On mine, under setting>mail, contacts, calendars>reminders: There is no option to select a "default" account. Only option is "sync" reminders from "2 weeks back" to "6 months back"

Yup, that makes sense that you wouldn't be able to specify a default list if you only have one.
