Over the last few days, I have been noticing that the Notes app has somehow been using Location Services, on my iPhone 6?! I don't mean the 'Reminders' app - I mean the Notes app.

In the multi-tasking menu, in the bottom left corner, I have been seeing a translucent Notes app icon with the words "Arrived at home", when I am at home. When tapping on it, it opens up the Notes app to the last note I made?! I wasn't even aware that the Notes app uses Location Services and I can't even see an option to disable this?!

Just follow these steps it may be helpful:

1. Go to settings.

2. Select privacy.

3. Select location services.

4. Select Geocaching to enable GPS usage for the Geocaching iPhone app.

5. Now select system services at the bottom of the list ofapps.

6. Turn your compass calibration ON and OFF

Note: The native iPhone apps acts like compass and maps will work with the compass calibration off.
What has the compass calibration to do with Note app ?

...I have to agree with Max here - what has the compass got to do with the Notes app?!

This is the Proactive feature.

It knows what apps you usually use at that location at that time so it proposes to open it.
