I’ve been searching over the internet for a while now, to find some justifiable answers about those “suspicious” system services being enabled.

So here I am, asking you guys to actually explain which ones are to be left ON and which ones can be safely turned OFF (the ones that are constantly using my location for no reason).

This is my current setup on the photo.

This should help explain some of them, although I would say there is not right or wrong amount of options to be turned on or off. That is based on personal preference and privacy concerns:

thanks very much for the 2nd link ( http://www.idownloadblog.com/2016/01/21/iphone-ipad-location-services/ )
its clear and exactly whats needed to figure it out.
i was being over cautious by turning most of them off before.
other than iAds from apple i have turned them all on now.

In short, you can turn off all except Find my iPhone, HomeKit (only if you use it), Motion Calibration and Distance (if you use fitness/route tracking), Time Zone (if you travel to different time zone), Share My Location (if you send your location to others), WiFi Networking (if you send location over WiFi). Disabling some of these and limiting location services for apps that doesn't require location can help you save battery.

It would be nice to know what does and doesn't work when you switch each of these OFF. Apple using my location constantly for their traffic data, when I'm not even using the Maps app, doesn't seem right.

Google Maps does the same thing.
