Location settings not remembering?

On my M4 iPad I’ve had to set certain location settings multiple times, it’s like it forgets what I selected.

Hasn’t happened on my phone also running the beta though, just my iPad.

Happens to me with the Weather app every day. I only notice because the weather widget on my home screen is suddenly blank and when I tap on it, I get the pop up asking for access to location services again

Ah, me too, thought it was just me being forgetful!

Anyone have a hypothesis as to whether this will this be fixed? Or is it a design decision? It persists beta after beta. It's very annoying.

It must be a bug. I reported it on FBA but it still says no similar reports, so get reporting!
