Lock Screen battery widget - Battery life?

Just a simple question here.

I added the battery widget to my Lock Screen because due to my poor vision, it’s a bit hard for me to see the default device battery level that is on the top right upper corner. So I then decided to add a battery widget only for my Lock Screen.

Will this drastically drain the battery on my iPhone 14 Pro?

Has anyone noticed any poor battery life when using widgets on the Lock Screen?

Been using this for about two days now and I’m just wondering.

Nope. The data is already pulled for the top right indicator. It’s just another view.

I've found that using Apple's battery widget on my lock screen is better than the icon on the top right. And since it's not a 3rd party widget, it pulls real-time data from the battery instead of having to wait for iOS to supply the data like it does with apps from the app store.
