Sooo, I know there is a merged thread dedicated to how to open the camera app from the lock screen BUT, I noticed something different yesterday...

So you double click the home button on lock screen in order to bring up the camera app, now you're in the photo capture screen, and then you click the home button, you are brought to your home screen, not the lock screen....

Therefore, any one who knows how to open the camera from the lock screen, can bypass your passcode, and get access to everything on your iPhone....what's up with that?

or did you mean you want to bypass the passcode after you taken a picture?
but that would be useless having a passcode set wouldn't it?

this was also mentioned in another thread with Siri. You're phone was prob not locked yet.

Try to set it to lock "immediately" (i/o delaying 1min) when you hit the lock button, then try again.
