Over the past few days, my 8 Plus running iOS 11.4.1 has started to freeze when trying to unlock. Not every time but it seems to be happening more frequently.

When I press the power button, I get a black screen with the clock at the top and and a padlock symbol (see screenshot).

The phone won't unlock or do anything. The only thing I can do is turn the screen on and off. Can't even force it to restart by holding the power button.

Only way to get it out of this state is to plug it in which kicks it back into life most times by taking me to the enter passcode screen. When this doesn't work, plugging it into my laptop forces the "do you want to trust this device" box which then unlocks the phone. Not ideal when out and about.

Anyone had this issue?
