iPhone Lock screen notification

Why is it useless?Is the notification useless for someone who gets their notifications on the lock screen on all apps?

Could have been worded better. But ok. I’m asking if it’s useless in any way. Would you say it’s useless if you put all your notifications to show on the lock-screen? Wouldn’t you just have to reply if you had to on the lock-screen? Or if not, would it go to the Notification Center? If so, then for that person, I’m assuming it would be useful.
It depends on how you want to be notified about. Mainly lock screen notifications are there so you would get notified when you aren't using your phone, so you would hear/feel the notification. It's also there so you could quickly see what the notification is without unlocking the phone and bringing down Notification Center. And you can quickly take some action on a notification or reply to it without unlocking if you want to. Good post. I was under the assumption that you could not reply to a notification unless it’s unlocked. You don’t have to go to the home screen but you have to unlock it first. I could be wrong.
