iPhone lock screen return call

in ios 13 you have to unlock the phone when you want to return an unanswered call from lock screen. in ios12 it was straight, no need to unlock just sweep. i have iphone 7.
these small changes makes life harder lol. one extra step. why?

ok just found the sollution. enable "return missed calls" in settings, touch id & passcode. nice.

That has been around for a long time. I wonder if somehow that setting got changed for you during some iOS 13 install.

yes it was on but not working. i had to turn off and turn on again.
