lock screen weather location

when i first use my phone in the morning my lock screen shows the current weather and the expected weather for the day. however it is not for my location, seems like california? i can’t figure where it’s getting that location from or what location service i need to enable to correct it

any tips appreciated

I'd check your setting in the weather app itself. What is your default location there?
