I've been using a great little app called LockBox Pro that stores all my user ids and passwords, etc. It would take a great deal of time to reenter all the info I've saved on my iPhone. It has made me curious, since there is no backup option via the web from the company itself whether all my info is being backed up when I connect to iTunes.

Simply put....if I had to restore my iPhone from an iTunes backup would all the entries be restored on LockBox Pro?

I am reasonably sure that if you need to restore your phone from an iTunes backup that you will get those data back. But I would be nervous too. I wouldn't use an application like that that didn't have a backup method I could get at independent of the phone. That is, I want a desktop companion or a solution in the "cloud." For really sensitive stuff, I prefer not to put it on anyone else's server, no matter how encrypted it is. Paranoia, I suppose.

LockBox Pro

I am also looking for back up to LockBox Pro since I had absolutely no back up when my iPhone crashed a month ago. In fact - LockBox pro cannot stand alone. I would like to see alternatives with backup facility.

If you want a password manager with backup to its own desktop application, SplashID is a great product. The iPhone app and desktop app cost $30 for the pair, if that is an issue.

I hope they fix it.

I use "safe in cloud". Been using it for years as it is cross platform and you can sync the data anywhere you want. I personally use Dropbox for the data but you can use all the major providers.

It has a desktop application as well.
The pro version costs £4.99 I think and works really well.
You can use the free version as you get pro features for a limited time to try it out.
