So I recently added my home folder called "Alex" to the sidebar in Finder since that is my user name and I noticed this folder called com.apple.ic and I can't get it to go away.
I have searched all over the web and every Terminal command to hide the folder won't work and it's locked so I'm guessing it's important so I can't delete it. It's starting to annoy me because the only folders I want to show up there are Applications, Desktop, Dropbox etc etc.
Every time I try a command to hide it, it keeps telling me I have no permission and yes before you ask, I am the admin on my own Mac. It's a folder I'm not supposed to see so thats why I have no permission to do anything.
If you know a workaround in Terminal or something similar, please help, it's annoying me so much.
Note: I also tried with the Command Line tools in Terminal with no luck.
