Hello,
I bought iPhone 5S online just in case anything happens to my main phone, I have backup. I told seller to send me video of phone using all buttons and showing me the settings to make sure there is no iCloud account added and the phone works properly before he sent it. Somehow, the same phone from the video (a small scratch on the frame was on the same spot) arrived DISABLED, so I connected it to iTunes, factory restored it and updated it. And now I try to setup the phone and boom, Activation Lock... doesn't say that it has been reported lost just that basic Activation lock screen preventing me from setting up the phone.. I surfed online a bit but all I found were those ****** Indian videos that are ******** obviously..
So does anyone have any idea what can I do? Is there maybe a tool that can legitimately remove Activation lock?
I am still trying to get seller to remove phone from his iCloud account but he just keeps excusing that he has no time and **** like that.. He also claims that the phone is't stolen, which I immediately presumed..
Thank you for any help guys!!

Return it.

There is no tool that allows removal of iCloud Activation Lock.

And if there were and we told you…we'd be in violation of forum rules.

Lol when will people learn

As others have said, contact eBay and PayPal immediately. Start the return process to get your money back.

Stay away from eBay when it comes to iPhones, amongst other things.

I have found (over the years) that this forum is one of the best places to get a good honest deal from fellow members. Swappa can also be better than eBay a lot of the time.

Just don't tell us the seller recently signed on to the service and has 0 feedbacks.

and why a iphone 5S? you can get a all most new iphone 5S for about $150 on swappa

Thanks for all help guys.. Guess I'll just buy a new one from the store, I don't have time to deal with stupid broke sellers scamming people all the time.. Though I didn't buy it on ebay, there is an app called LetGo here in europe, simple buy and sell model. I know my sellers address (5 min drive from my house LOL), Facebook account, which isn't fake, but really weird.. Now he just told me he will give me my money back, if he doesn't find Apple ID, but he is looking for it.. Oh, and why 5s? for 100$you just get quite a lot of a phone.
Hoping for the best... :)

Not trying to be bellicose mind you. Am curious why so many people on the forum quote a post without making any actual reply. What is the point of doing that?
Their reply is inside the quote.

People start typing without scanning as to where the cursor is and invariably it's before the final quote tag.

Then again, sometimes it's exactly as you say…

They’re just showing that they have absolutely nothing to say.
They’re not rude or anything, just weird types.
Just give it a :)

Actually it was simpler than I thought it will be, I just sent a receipt to Apple support and they unlocked the phone..
