Hey, i have been using and had my iPad Air 2 for nearly 4 years now but a couple days ago, after i have unplugged my iPad Air 2 after charging to 100%, Pretty much straight away, it showed the Apple logo and gone on to the lock screen, saying "activation required", so i have tried to activate my iPad but it always keeps coming up with an "Activation Error" message. 
So i have went on my Surface Pro 4 and plugged in my iPad and try to Activate my iPad on iTunes but unfortunately for some reason it keeps on coming up with a "Activation Error" message and that is even with the Apple login credentials(my Apple ID) logged in, no problems with my password and all that stuff.
I am really worried that the only other way is to do a Hard reset but i really don't want to lose nearly 4 years worth of stuff on my iPad as i have never ever backed up my stuff on a computer or iCloud but after the Activation lock problem appeared, i have tried to back up my files with a third party program like iSkysoft Toolbox but for some reason it would not work unfortunately.
I could just go to Currys(The place that i bought the iPad), i have the Applecare plan and hopefully get them to try to get rid of the Activation lock problem and get them to back up my files but i am really worried because to be honest, i have lots of X rated/Porn photos that i screenshot about a good 2/3 years ago and if the repair people try to back it up especially in public, the people most probably see it which i will most likely get embarrassed and uncomfortable and however since the start of last year 2018, i have completely stopped taking screenshots of Porn once and for all.
I might as well do a hard rest to get rid of the Activation lock problem and lose my nearly 4 years worth of stuff/files on my iPad Air 2 and more importantly to avoid a big shame and embarrassment of people and the repair people seeing the X rated photos in public when they trying to fix Activation lock problem and backing up my files.
But i will only do a hard reset on my iPad Air 2, if there is absolutely no choice but to fix the Activation lock problem and very sadly lose nearly 4 years of files in the process.
The ideal scenario would be to get rid of the Activation lock problem, able to use my iPad again and kept all my nearly 4 years worth of files because i really want to keep my files and not lose them.
What should i do?? Is there any other way to get rid of the Activation lock on my iPad and use my iPad again and not lose my nearly 4 years worth of files?? or should i take it to Currys and get them to try to get rid of the problem and risk possibly get embarrassed/shamed and uncomfortable because what i have mentioned above??
