Lockinfo or intelliscreen for android?

Hi, anyone know if there is anything similar to Lockinfo or Intelliscreen on android? One of the things I miss from my jailbroken iPhone.

You don't need it. You're conditioned by iOS and the jailbreak to need these things.

This is why Android has status bar icons. That's your LockInfo or IntelliscreenX. Simply pull down the notification bar and you can see all your notifications.

Sorry, not the same functionality.

First, I would have to press the power button, unlock the phone then swipe down, with lock info all I had to do is press the power button.

Second, I can't reply, mark as read, or delete anything from the pull down menu, only dismiss. With lock info I could do all those things from the lock screen without having to jump into the email app or messaging app.

Third, if I did want to jump into those apps, I just swipe the icon from the lock screen and jump strait to it, your way I have to unlock first, then swipe down the menu, then tap the notification.

I have widget locker. It gives me shortcuts, which is great, but doesn't give me that extra functionality with notifications.

I also tried lock screen notifications widget with widget locker, and it's close. It shows me the notification on my lock screen, but I can't take any action on them only view them. I can't even open directly to the app.

So you are now the person to tell others what they do and do not need?
Maybe you should let others decide what best fits their needs instead of telling them what best fits their needs.

People say Android is best for customization, and that is true. But in reality, you can't do whatever you want on Android devices. You are still severely limited by what developers have made, obviously. Same thing with iOS and jailbreak tweaks.

Honestly, your best bet is going to be using widgetLocker and finding a cool widget that gets close to this functionality. Maybe look at DashClock, but I know that won't be the same as LockInfo. You probably won't find anything that functions like that, you will just have to keep searching for a close alternative.

OP, depending on what phone you have, you could try something like NiLS. It may give you the functionality you're looking for. It may only work on 4.2 and above, though.

There are things you can do on a jailbroken iOS device that you just can't on Android even when rooted unfortunately. (please no one ask me what, there are countless numbers of tweaks and new ones coming out practically every week)

Thanks, that is really close. I still can't do stuff like mark as real or delete from the lock screen, but it does give me a preview, allows me to dismiss, and takes me right to the app if I tap the notification.

Not quite what I was looking for, but it did lead me to find notifications pro by the same developer, which has been an app I didn't know I wanted but I'm loving right now. Thanks.

I've just downloaded Lock Screen Notifications...lets see how that is. I've been using NiLS Notifications Lock Screen since but lets see what this one is like.

I just started to use NILS lockscreen notifications and absolutely LOVE it. Even the free version is adequate, although it's only a couple of bucks for the paid version. You can customize exactly which alerts come through, you can change the size/position/font/color of the alerts, etc. Very nice little app, I think all I need now is banner alerts.

I've never been super happy with Androids notification panel. It squashes together alerts and you can't really see individual alerts very well, you have to stop for a second and process the wall of text they squash together. Plus it's an extra swipe, and sometimes with a large phone you can't swipe all you can do is press the home button or power button one handed. Additionally you can set Nils to turn on the screen with notifications.

i use NiLS, depending on the notification, there are certain actions available if you press and hold the notification icon. Like for gmail I can click it to open the email in gmail, press-n-hold the icon and i can reply or delete, etc
