Im talking about the new ability to password lock notes in the notes app by the way

Doesn't seem like there are any options for that there. Just copy or print and the ability to send to various other apps.

It's there for me.

I think all your devices have to be on 9.3/10.11.4 before you can do it.

I'm on 9.3 on my iPad / iPhone but mac is still on 10.10.3 (still downloading .4).

Yeah, no option there for locking on my iPhone 6. Seems like something else must be tied to it beyond simply being on iOS 9.3 (I don't have any other devices where I'm logged in with the same Apple ID, so other devices shouldn't really play a role in that in my case).

Are these iCloud notes that you are seeing this on, or any notes at all?

and make sure you're in iCloud notes...I have a Gmail notes folder that doesn't offer the option to lock.
