iPhone Lockscreen remove background behind clock and slider

What's an easy way to remove the black background behind the clock and unlock slider on the lockscreen? I have springtomize 2 but it doesn't seem to have that feature (I still want the clock and slider to be present). Thanks!

If you are using Winterboard, you can do that by replacing a few files inside Bundles>com.apple.TelephonyUI

I think the file names are: BarBottomLock@2x~iphone.png and BarLCD@2x.png.
You need transparent ones to replace.

Do you think you could please give me a bit more detail on how to do this? I don't exactly know much beyond the basics of downloading things from cydia and applying them through winterboard.

If you have a theme applied in Cydia, you can go:

Winterboard>YourTheme>Bundles>com.apple.TelephonyUI and inside this folder you will have to put the two files I named before, transparent, both of them. I attached both files already.

You need to SSH on your phone to do that. If you don't know how to do that, follow here: http://thebigboss.org/guides-iphone-ipod-ipad/install-and-use-ssh

If you use Mac, just use CyberDuck instead of WinSCP for Windows.

easiest way is the theme no lock bars and cw clear lock (winterboard)
