I have checked "Transparent Sliders", "Clear LockScreen" and "No lock bars" in Winterboard. All worked fine as can be seen in my attached picture a part from the Slide bar which STILL is not completely transparent. I want to make it completely transparent removing the background from the Slider text as well.

Anyone know any work arounds?

P.S. iOS 6.1.2

Have you tried hide knob and all that in Springtomize? I tried that and something else I forget at the moment and I have no slidelock visible.

Yes, have tried all these settings/changes but no use. The slider knob disappears but the dark greyish background behind the slider text remains.

I have noticed that quite a few options I select from Winterboard do no take effect or show up. Like I tried "Color Status bar" or "Color bars" etc. and they all don't show up!

Might this be problem with the Winterboard itself?

UPDATE: installed "Signal Dots" which replaces the default signal bars with dots through Winterboard and that too didn't show up!

Sorry not much help..but..

Try using a transparent background manually then to remove that background.

Or see the 'transparent slider background' tweak in cydia. If you haven't already.

Maybe this thread will have more ideas:

The 'Transparent Slider Background' shows a compatibility with iOS 4.3 only.

I have installed a tweak 'LockScreenSettings' and from there I have completely disabled Slider bar. That worked but not through Winterboard.
