As I understand it, with the upcoming OS Mountain Lion, you log in to your Mac with your Apple ID (please correct me if I'm wrong there).

But I have one Apple ID for iCloud, and another for my iTunes purchases.

This hasn't seemed a problem in Lion (I just sign into iCloud with the iCloud ID, and sign into iTunes with the iTunes ID) - but will having these separate IDs present a problem in Mountain Lion?

Grateful for any insight here!

You don't log in to ML with your Apple ID, you can just log in to iCloud during the set up of ML. But you can have multiple accounts just like with Lion.

I meant when you first log into ML. According to this YouTube video, you log in with an Apple ID:

"... you'll be prompted for your Apple ID to enable iCloud... this will pull down your app store information, your iTunes information..."

.. do you mean I can enter my iCloud ID at first and then change the iTunes ID later?

Yes, nothing that you put in that screen in permanent, and only sets things up originally. If you want something different in iTunes, just change it.

When you first set up the computer, login to iCloud. Then just logout in iTunes then log in again with your other Apple ID.

What do you do if you have 2 iCloud accounts? I have one for my ipod touch/iPad, and my wife has a separate one for her iphone. We have an iMac with multiple user accounts, can I still set it up so iCloud works for both of us? As of now I am only running SL...

Thanks,
