Hey everyone
I cracked my screen
I have been using external monitors and it’s been fine
I however did a shutdown and can no longer use Touch ID to login
I assume it’s asking for my password
Just wondering if someone could have a look at how I may be able to login blind, I’ve tried tab enter to bring up the enter password window without success, it may also be asking for my login name as well, but just thought I’d ask the question thanks

If you have multiple users (including a guest user), you first have to select the user icon. You can do so by using the left and right arrows (to select one of the users), then hit return/enter, then enter password, and hit return/enter again.
Maybe this helps?

You can also select the user by typing the first letter of the username.

connect the external monitor, turn it and your Mac on and press Command and F1 on the keyboard of your Mac.

I already know that on an M1 Mac, I just type the password and press enter and I'll log in. I don't have to select anything.
