Hi guys,

I need help, i updated my mac 2 days ago from Catalina to Ventura, and by the same time did the last Logic update.

I really regret it because it has been a nightmare since then. First my browser in massive X was empty, i missed half the samples from Battery, and Kontakt was bugged, so i also updated native instrument. After that i couldn't even open my logic projects, It crashed everytime during the loading.

I spent the last 2 days reading possible solution on internet. A solution i found was to moove some of the components in another files, but it worked for some projects but not other. I still have to try 15 times to run the project before it open. Then when i try to record vocals there is alway latency, even with minimum buffer + Low latency mode. All my audio units are validated.

Everything is ****ed. I have a 13inch 2018 macbook pro.

Did you make a final backup of your previous setup before upgrading?

You may want to rebuild a Catalina install on an external drive, and reinstall everything there so you can get your production system up and running. Once your Catalina partition is solid, you may want to consider copying it to your internal drive, then upgrading the external partition to Ventura. I have a strong feeling you’ll need updates to some of your plugins to get them working well in Ventura.

Ok, thanks for your answer. I didn't make a back up of my previous setup.

Well, "Downgrade Logic Pro" isn't a command, menu item or anything resembling that. You have to have access to the older version such as a saved copy (I compress and rename my current version before an upgrade) or getting the prior version via Time Machine or another backup method.
