My Logic Express arrived today with no manual. I searched online but couldn't find one. Where can I find the manual?

I guess there is no real user manual that takes you through how to use it. Shame on Apple.

Do you just want one that has "operation manual" in the title? The "reference manual" is a pretty typical manual -- it starts from "What is Logic?" and goes through the interface, the features, how to use them, etc. Did you actually open it and look at it?

Yes I did thank you. I spent 4 hours looking at the quick start guide and the reference manual and the quicktime movies. There is nothing I have seen that takes you through it step by step like a user manual does. I cannot even get it to make a sound using my (qwerty) keyboard, let alone using a controller or heaven forbid record something! I think the quick start guide is for Logic and not Logic Express because it says to locate a folder on my disk that isn't there (tutorial f). The documentation is awful. I'd be on the phone screaming at Apple if I didn't have the procare appointment today. Again I say shame on Apple.

sounds like the first time i fired up Logic 4 and tried to record some vocals. a complete "wtf?" moment. rather, many "wtf" moments all strung together, wondering why it was so difficult to do something so basic. then i fired up PTLE for the first time and, w/in about 2 minutes, was getting good audio from the mic.

there have been some occasional glances over the shoulder, but for the most part i haven't looked back.
