Logic/Speed game "Set" coming to app store within the month.

A few weeks ago I emailed Set Enterprises to suggest that they develop an iPhone app of their fabulous card game Set. Here was their response:

Thank you for contacting Set Enterprises. We are currently in the process of developing the iPhone application and it should be up and running within the month. We'll let you know as soon as it's released.

I'm pretty excited. It's an amazingly fun card game that requires speed and logic. You can try it online here.

There's a version of it out called Crossbones (iTunes link) that is pirate themed. It's pretty cool, has good multiplayer functionality built in.

I do think that the way they changed the card variances makes it a little harder than the original. But it still keeps me entertained.

I actually have crossbones. I thought it was much harder to play. Rather than looking for "sets", I found myself trying to distinguish the differences between the cards since they look so similar. I hope that Set is as good as I want it to be.
