Login screen once awaken

This is a minor problem, but I'd appreciate if you could lend your ears to it.

Every time I wake my computer out of my sleep, it would go straight to that small login box. Yesterday, all of sudden, it started taking anywhere between 5-15 seconds for that login box to pop up after I shook the computer out of sleep. It seems strange that this delay just literally started overnight and it's been consistent since Saturday afternoon.

I hope you aren't physically shaking the computer to get it to wake up. Just a few taps on the keyboard or opening the screen will usually do the trick.

No. It actually started after I let my MBP sleep while it ran iMovie HD.
