I'm looking for a new keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9. I've used the Apple Smart Keyboard, but for the second time now, I've had the same issue where the print on the keys is wearing off. It happened to my first one after 3 months, and now I have the second one for less than 2 months and already starting to see a couple of keys wear off.
I prefer getting a keyboard that uses the smart connector, so that leaves the Logitech Create. I've realize it makes the iPad Pro much heavier and is more difficult to remove from the case, but after owning the iPad Pro for 9 months now, I've come to realize that 99% of my use is at my desk, so I don't really have issues with that.
What concerns me is that I've read multiple complaints about this case scratching the iPad screen when closed. I saw one on display today at Best Buy, and it appears that there is a thin rubber bumper above the screen which in theory should stop the screen from making contact with the keyboard part when the case is closed. Did they change the design by adding this rubber bumper, or is the bumper just not very effective?
Perhaps it needs a couple more rubber bumpers? I don't mind putting on a couple of my own, or even some felt in a couple of strategic spots if that will protect the screen better.
Anyone own this case who has noticed this issue?
