Logitech G5 mouse or Logitech MX518?

just as the title says, i am wondering if i should get the logitech G5 laser mouse or the logitech MX518. there is like 15$ between the 2. the laser being more. i am up for spending that much though. so please post your opinions/experiences.

well i just ordered the logitech MX518. it has more buttons then the G5 and is less money. i am not going to be playing ANY games anyway. i just wanted the best wired mouse i could get for the price.

The MX518 doesn't allow you to use the other buttons as far as I know, neither does the G5, since it is only PC compatible. You may be able to use USB overdrive though...I had a 518 and the Logitech Control Center didn't see it.
