Hope this is the right place to post this question...I wanted to know (generally) if the Logitech Harmony 550 would be able to control apps on a macbook (specifically VLC).
I am trying to consolidate all my remotes into one. I am about to buy a Harmony 550, since the prices have dropped so much on this particular remote. Thing is, we watch most shows and movies on my Macbook through VLC. I currently use a Griffen Airclick to control VLC. Has anyone tried to get this to work? I'm guessing, by getting the 550 to learn the Airclick remote?
I've seen that the Harmony remotes work with the AppleTV. But havent seen any word about working with a macbook.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
