Well I've had a logitech MX 5000 Bluetooth keyboard for quite some time now but it's quite useless on a mac. Is there anyway to get the display to work and the different function buttons along with the back and foward ect.. on the mouse.

You're not going to get the display to work in anything but Windows. You can get the extra buttons on the mouse to work by buying a program called USB Overdrive. I had that mouse and keyboard set for a long time, and that proved to be the only way to get all the buttons to do what I wanted in OS X.
