General Logitech MX Keys / Master 3

I work from home with a multi-display desk setup powered by my company issued Lenovo Thinkpad.

I also run an iPad Pro 12.9 (atop a Magic Keyboard/folio) on my desktop.

Currently, I have an Arteck Bluetooth keyboard with 3x BT channels, meaning I can select the device I wish to type with at the press of a preset key.

I am using a TeckNet BT mouse, which is kind of ok for my needs, but I find these cheaper offerings via Amazon need replacing after 6 months or so. Usually the scroll wheel developing play from wear.

I am led to believe that the Logitech MX Master 3 is one of the best mice available, and the MX Keys keyboard is of similar ilk.

I am keen to learn of anyone that has these peripherals and can offer some ‘real world’ feedback on them.. and of the Logitech Flow also

I’ve used an MX Master 2S for years. Best mouse I’ve ever owned.

I will concur what has been said above, my MX Master has been nothing but solid.

The scrolling wheel patents LOGI holds are something else.

As for keyboards, had you been on macOS I would have immediately recommended the magic keyboard, I have only heard good from the MX Keys (mini ?).

I'm using this exact combination with my PC right now. I'm very pleased with both the keyboard and the mouse, and I really wouldn't have it any other way. What I appreciate about this is the fact I can quickly switch the keyboard to pair with my iPad Mini 6! I can't recommend this combination enough!!

Using this exact setup on the iMac I'm presently using to reply to your post and absolutely love it. I have a Keychron mechanical that I was using for a while but work required a lot of Zoom calls and it's too loud for those situations so picked up the MX Keys--love it, perfect midpoint between the stock Magic Keyboard and that Keychron--more travel than the Magic Keyboard but not the loud clicky-clacky Keychron beast . I also had two separate desktops side-by-side for a while and the 3X BT pairing made it super seamless switching between them.

Same goes for the MX Master 3, though I don't generally using the multiple BT channels because the button to switch is on the bottom of the mouse. Love the customization of all the buttons/scroll wheels and it's super comfortable to use for long hours.

Logitech Flow however I found super buggy and unreliable so don't use it.

I use a MX Master 3, and MX Keys daily and have done for about 18 months now - absolutely rock solid all around.

My setup is; Dell Monitor (with Logitech dongle plugged into it) -> USB-C -> Whatever laptop I'm using. All I need to do is just drop a laptop in and plug in the USB-C cable and it just works. I've also tried with the Logitech's built-in bluetooth and that works fine as well but it's just slightly easier to use the dongle so you don't have to swap bluetooth 'channels' when swapping devices. Hardware-wise they're both top notch, the mouse especially feels great to use and the keys on the keyboard are marked for Windows and Mac which is useful if you swap between the two like me.

I had previously used the MX Master 2S mouse, and really didn't like it. The side button placement was weird, the scroll wheel was clunky and very loud, the side scroll wheel felt horrible to use, and it doesn't use USB-C so I needed a totally seperate special snowflake cable to charge it. MX Master 3 though is fantastic and the scroll wheel is dead silent.

I did try Flow once just to see what is was about, and I didn't much care for it. Seemed unreliable and flaky compared to Synergy (which has worked almost flawlessly for me for probably close to 10 years).

If you prefer mechanical keyboards though, I've heard nothing but good things about Keychron's keyboards. They have similar multi-device bluetooth support and are excellent keyboards. I'm very tempted to replace my MX Keys with one of those in future, as I do much prefer mechanical keebs despite how good the MX is.

I personally don't use them (yet), but know two people who do, and they would run back into a burning house to save them from destruction. In fact, they actually have me considering trading my current Logitech setup (K750 Solar, M720) for them.

I have the MX Master 3 and MX Keys, these were both purchased before the first lock down in 2020, I have used both extensively and all day for work, and I have to say the mouse is the best mouse I have ever used, it is comfortable, responsive, precise, and I love the selectable scroll wheel either being clicky or smooth. If it broke I would buy another in a heart beat.

The MX Keys keyboard is also nice, feels similar but nicer to apple keyboards and I do like the backlighting.

Being able to pair both with three devices selectable by just pressing a button is a really nice feature.

Neither are cheap however they are good quality and I certainly dont regret my purchase one bit, if you use a mouse all day you will be hard pushed to find anything better.

Been using MX Masters for years, and love them. Work computer has it, and personal home one and my work laptop I use at home.
