I've done everything. Restart, took out batteries, turn on/off, unpair other accessories, etc. I did get it to pair for a few minutes and I could use it, but now it pairs and umpires constantly every few seconds. I don't understand why it'd be "defective" but don't know what the issue could be. Also, I have the same issues when pairing it with my iPhone.

If it isn't working with either device, I'd lead towards the keyboard being defective.

A couple of thoughts though: any issue pairing other BT devices with the iPad? Try rebooting the iPad? Check Logitech's site for any possible hard reset instructions for the keyboard as well.

But odds are, it's a keyboard issue. :(

No problems with BT with other accessories. Rebooted idevices. Tried all internet solutions I could find. I've been able to use it for periods. I'm using it now. It'll work fine, then just disconnect. I just don't understand why it would work periodically. It seems it'd either work or not work. I've been connected with no issues on and off for 10 or 15 minutes at a time. I can connect and reconnect with no problems, then it just starts disconnecting.

I would just take it back, but I got the last one, which is why I'm troubleshooting.

I don't get it. It's working fine now. I'll see how it does for a couple of days.

Electronics are just nuts. We brought home a brand new so-called smart TV yesterday. By last night, I was ready to box it up and take it back.

Today? It's been fine all day. No idea why.

Fingers crossed that your keyboard is fine from here on out!
