Folks,
Trying to troubleshoot why I cannot connect with this video conference cam. I did not get the cord for the camera and am trying to use a generic usb micro to usb a to the computer USB port. The connection provides power but does not show up on the USB system page or as a camera.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks

Bill

A quick 10 second read of the manual from Logitechs own website shows that it needs to get power via the AC jack on the camera. You can charge via USB, but only with a USB - AC jack cable. The microUSB port on it does not charge it

Thanks for the input. The cable will charge the unit but does not recognize the Logitech device when I go to System Information and look of it under the USB or Camera sections. I tried a MacBook and a PC and had the same results. Since this was a generic cable, I ordered one for the unit and see if this makes a difference.

Thanks

Bill
