I want to purchase a Cordless mouse which I can use with my Macbook OS X which I have recently purchased and still learning what Mac is all about. I have been wading through the Logitech Site and the two above seem to be what I am looking for. I would like it to run on wireless if possible. But one mentions Blue Tooth Wireless which I do not understand fully. My internet connection is Wireless on my PC which I pick up on my Laptop? Question is has anybody used either of the above and have any comments on how they got on with either, or any other mouse that would fit my requirements. This is going to be a Christmas Present from my Husband so price is not too important. (hopefullY)

I have the V270 and it's a great little mouse... I have no stutter and the delay after a pause does not affect me. Before that on my ancient desktop I still had a ball mouse and the V270 is 1000 times better. Love it, go with it and you'll not regret.

PS: Do a search, there's a bunch of reviews on the forum, including mine in another post. Amazon has some good reviews too...

v270 without a doubt. Best mouse I've ever had. I've been using it since August and have yet to change the batteries. :)

I think I'm getting another one for Christmas for use with my iBook, and when I get a Mac Mini to hook up to my home theater next spring I'll probably get one for that too.

If you need to order it, Newegg has it for $35.

V270 works great with the C2D MBP. I would not hesitate to get one.

A couple things to be aware of:

1. There is a slight lag on pauses and when you first boot the machine. It was strange at first, but got used to it after a day or two - no big deal.

2. This mouse is physically small - I don't mind, but my wife is not used to it yet (though I'm on the MBP so much, she doesn't get much of a chance) :D

I just got my 270 today.

Form factor is great. A little smaller than my "regular size" mouse but a lot bigger than those micro mice. It is a bit heavier but it still feels just right. Mine is silver and it will match my Macbook pro.

It comes in a high quality pouch with a zipper.

I still have not tried it with my MBP so I cant coment on its performace (I will when I have).

BTW Your macbook has bluetooth so you dont need to install any USB dongle to use this mouse. One less thing to carry around and have to plug and use up one more USB slot.

Attached is a picture od my new mouse next to my faitfull but peeling genius mouse.

I have a PC100 and just received my PB G4 15.2". Since Logitech V200 comes w/ a bluetooth receiver which I would not need for Power Book could I put the usb receiver on my pc and use the mouse w/ either Power Book or PC 100?
