Just got a M325 Logitech mouse; I really really like how small it is, however, when I use this mouse my computer's "save energy option" won't wake-up when I tap my keyboard spacer.

When I go but back to my old UBS mouse and touch the spacer it wakes up just fine.

Any ideas?

This question is bound to be easy for someone.

If it's an Apple computer,I seen the same problem a few times, found a new driver for the mouse, which partially solved the problem. To get rid of all problems with macs and third party mouse, buy a Magic Mouse from your Apple provider.

I use Logitech wireless mice on two Macs, no problems waking up.

BUT... I -don't use- the Logitech mouse driver software.
I use either USB Overdrive or SteerMouse instead.

Ha, I didn't use any software, didn't know it was needed. Perhaps that IS the problem. Will look up the Magi Mouse, didn't know Apple had their own mice.

HOLD IT!
Decided to try something before leaving this chat.

I took my husband's logitech mouse and tried it in my Mac, it worked fine. He never download a driver either. Then I plugged my new mouse in, tried all the different ways (sleep, scheduling long and short) of turning the Mac on with a tap of the space bar and every time it worked. Apparently, I no longer have the problem.

Thanks a lot to you both.
