Hi!

I want to buy new speakers which soud amazing.
I will use it by far the most for listening music.
Now I did some research and the Logitech z-5500 and Bose companion 5 both seem great speaker sets.

Now I would love to hear some opinions and experience with those speakers, which are the best for music?

If there are other speakers you know are better I would also love to hear it.

Thank a lot!
Sander

Bose is a fantastic brand, but they're over priced. If you can get them somewhere using an education discount, or even better employee purchase, you can easily cut the price in half. They do plug in through your USB though, so if you don't have lots of USB ports floating around, or have a sound card that you want to take advantage of, I'd go with the Logitech set.

If nothing above seems like a problem to you, then go for the Bose, because they're cleaner looking and keep clutter to a minimum. Hope this helps.

Please help me out here, The question is which sound the best(for music) or other good suggestions, Thanks!

I'm going to make your choice a bit more difficult by recommending neither. I looked at both and actually went with a cheaper alternative: Klipsch Promedia 2.1s. They sound absolutely fantastic at both low and high volumes with no muddying of mid range. No distortion whatsoever with jazz, Rachmaninov or Foo Fighters.
All at a fraction of the price of the Bose and the Logitech.
