Logo Critique - Illustrator

Its good that you used Illustrator to do it. The bad part is I have NO clue what that logo says. It is way too complicated to be a logo. It is more of a graphic element that a functioning logo. I also dont see how the logo related to a music project. As far a color I know you wanted to use a neon color, but I dont know how this would translate on a white or grey background. I dont know if you will always have a black background.
I looked at the logo before reading the post. Took a good few minutes to figure out it said nomadic sun, isnt the best choice of font/style in my view.
After reading the post and linking it with music I suppose the round disk thingy could be a record.
The neon blue doesn't say techno to me either, it says dodgy 80's clubs.

I was able to read it right away. It is more difficult then it should be though, so I would agree that for your name it should be more legible.
Not sure on the neon blue either.
Does not need to look techno to be techno. Perhaps have something that looks more like your name.... some starving bugger in the middle of the desert with a turntable and the sun is frying his brains out

It's for an electronic musician's web site/t-shirt. I want to integrate this line-y drawing with a whole series of lines. Almost like a pipe network.
The blues and blacks look good, but it is a bit difficult to read.
I would work on making it more legible, then tweak the design stuff afterwards.
