Logo design for a website for mac View

You're a web designer that has no idea how to do web design? Talk about a bad career choice. You actually expect to have someone here do the work so you can get paid?
I know the people at mac rumors are really good with design so please help me out--------I need a logo for "Mac View" It can be text with a design aspect to it or a cool logo such as an image. Any size and any ideas will be accepted. If its accepted your logo will be features on the site permanently with your name
You should probably try to find another high school student in your area to help you. Many us are professionals who don't take kindly to being asked to do their profession for free.
The OP clearly states that he/she is a web developer. Despite the fact that there is quite a bit of overlap these days, web devs are not traditionally expected to know how to design much of anything.
The post also states that he/she was hired to create a logo, not an entire website. I don't generally hire someone who washes cars to service my engine.
It seems a little strange to me that your client is giving you an e-mail account, and I see you listed Macview.ca in your signature on this post:

I think that sums it up very well, a client or more likely for yourself...
OP if you bothered to read my links in your previous thread you might have discovered a little more about the process and tools needed... Saying I don't know Photoshop indicates you didn't read the links which would have put you on the right path. It would have given you the knowledge at least to create a simple wordmark, you'd be talking about 3-4 hours of reading, learning an application then creating the logo.
Again I reiterate what IgnatiusTheKing said, most professional designers wont invest experience, time and resources into something without reparation.
I really think you need to read the links provided, you might learn something and it will add to your skillset for future projects

For my multimedia how I need to come up with a company idea and design the logo. I can't think of anything. I want it to be different from the rest of my class so I don't want another clothing store or something. I want something interesting that interests me. I was thinking a book company! but then i wouldn't know what kinda logo. please help with any ideas you may have!!!
