Logo Ideas

I hate to ask, but this is the highest concentration of graphic designers i know of, so here it goes:

I am starting a photography business and I need a somewhat professional looking logo, the company name is Happy Geek Productions and my name is Chris Corbin we are mainly do photography and a little event video, all kinds of photos though, weddings, family portraits, sports, and of course corporate events

I am pretty proficient in the photoshop area and a little illustrator, so i just need a start or basic idea to maybe devlop a little more.

In case you haven't already, you should probably try posting on Craigslist too. Someone might be willing to do it ultra cheap to add to their portfolio, or possibly in trade for your services.

that would be the problem. i dont know where to start and even if i did i cannot draw freehand, editing photos is very different than designing a logo

Try posting for a designer or critiques on Logopond, the people on this site know there stuff well.
