Tried again to connect today, and it says "Cannot connect to mobilechat". Is this app ever going to work or is Apple going to refund everyones money and charge this "business" with fraud? They made out like bandits with a fake product that doesnt work! Sure its only 3 bucks, but multiply that by the few thousand people that purchased it (probably into the 10s of thousands), and you have a great scam.

Unless this company blocks phones of users that posted on their blogs in a negative manner? That would make for an even better lawsuit.

Everyone that bought this should definitely get a refund back.

It doesn't matter that it's "only" $3, it's the principle of the whole thing. They shouldn't get a single penny from anyone for their lousy app.

I agree with you.. It's really not about the $3, but about helping the community to be aware of their false advertisment.

Yeah, I have to agree that anyone still complaining about this turd pretty much deserves what they get. It's no secret that it borders on being a scam, methods of getting your money back have been brought up in several threads that I've seen personally. At this point you have no one to blame but yourself.

Actually, MobileChat has been working fine for me (at least for AIM, Gtalk, and MSN).

Course I still use Beejive cause that was before they came out with the update (and because it feels better to know that the server will rarely crash).

i spent my refund on bejeweled(sale price 3.99!!).. at least that amount of money gives me some fun time, mobilechat gave me nothing but just sitting in my itunes library..

It was a pathetic product to start with, and they gradually just made it worse.

I just noticed that. Kinda defeats the whole basis of which my original blog post was based on.
Still .. the content is still there, and it still depicts "The Shambles that is: Mobile Chat 3".

Since I took so long to get me refund they could only give me 2 video downloads, all only tv shows that are SD and 3 songs, but thats enough for me =]

I was one of the fools who gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the second I bought it and tried it, I regretted it.

I've been using Beejive flawlessly since I got that.

If mobilechat was on the stock market, it would have been delisted for being junk long ago.
