looking through rose-tinted spectacles...
Just spotted this on the Macworld UK website.

Apple are extending the free songs deal with Coke to the big Coke sign at Piccadilly Circus - text the word on the screen to a number and you'll get at least one free song apparently...and possibly up to 1000

And if you're wandering around with your iPod on, you might get a 5-song card and a free coke...
 
I just saw this on the RSS feed- I knew someone would have beaten me to it :)

Has anyone seen these codes yet?

I've sent both the Rock code and the Funk code that someone (think it was you!) posted and haven't had a reply off either! :confused:

I did send them late though 10:30pm ish, maybe they changed? :confused:

I sent my text off with the funk code about 9.30pm and won three songs. My reply came about a minute after. According to the rules it just costs your standard text message rate i.e. about 10p or whatever you normally pay. I have not had any marketing stuff sent by Coke but I suppose you never know later on - can't be any worse than mobile phone companies trying to get you to upgrade and bombarding you with texts.
 
I wouldn't mind a couple of free tracks.

Please someone post the code - I've checked everywhere for it - no one has posted it - even the web cam is to low down to see it! :mad:

Cheers! Just got 5 songs! :D And one more entry since I've used it twice now!

Incidentally, if Coke do start bombarding with texts, there will have to be an opt-out to text STOP or the like back since as they haven't asked us to opt in/out (unless they show terms and conditions on the screen), it would be against the data protection act not to allow us to opt out later.
 
ONE song?! grrr.

Thanks for the codes anyways :) so can you do this everyday? Or did I really just get 1 song for my text message?
