Since the first beta on my iPad Pro, I've not gotten the long press from the dock apps to show any recent items, it does nothing. Eventually, the long press just wiggles the app for deletion. Anyone else seen this?

Sorry for highjacking this thread, but is this possible on the iPhone also, or do I need to buy an iPad?

From what I understand this only works for the Files app

Pretty sure it’s an Apple app only feature at this time.

It also works with iWork app suite.

It works for other apps that have updated to include this feature, including non Apple apps.
I am using a well known drawing/painting app (currently in beta) and long pressing on the app icon brings up the recent files associated with the app as long as the files are saved in the files app.

If there are no files saved in the files app then the pop up won’t show when long pressing.

Have you got any files saved in the files app on your iPad?

I had this exact issue. It seems that previewing a file in the Files doesn’t add it to my recent files list - but when I used Numbers to open a file, then that file appeared in the pop up lists for both Numbers and Files.
