When I print something from my previous MBP ( Big Sur ) or my current MBP currently using Monterey. I get multiple pages with what appears to be one line of ASCII code on top of each page. Using the same printer, my iPhone prints OK. The laser printer is a Samsung M306X connected via WiFi. I have so far reset printer and scanners in settings menu and re-added it to no avail. thanks.

What apps are you using to do the print? What is your current MBP?

I was printing through Safari, an Amazon return label. MBP 14 base.

I did a slight work around just a few moments ago which appears to allow me to print. I remove the printer then added it again, but this time I selected HP Laser Jet as the "kind". Attached pic. Is the Kind option that I chose some sort of emulator driver? cheers

That sometimes happens to me when I try to print from safari. If I remember, I check the preview. If the preview shows a blank page or the single line of print I cancel and then click on the body of what I want to print and then select print again. This usually solves the problem.

The preview pane shows just fine. Then it starts printing mainly blank sheets, I have to end it on the printer else it'll go through lots of paper before ceasing on its own.

Ditto seen weirdness from time to time with printing from Safari.

Can print to PDF, then print the PDF via Preview, to print via a range to eliminate any blank pages (if they show up).
