What will the ipad in the short term be like, say in the next few years?

What will it look like in the distant future say 5 to 10 years?

Form factor-wise, probably won't evolve much. Every year will bring perfomance updates. In 10 years it will do, in terms of performance, what a MacPro can do today.

Crystal Ball Stuff "Pipe Dreams"

Apple Tv revision to become the Centre of the home so each member of the family has an iPad Media is Stored and Purchased and distributed from the Atv and iPads. Removing the need for the Atv to have a master computer with iTunes on it. The said Apple Tv to have a bit more horse power in it as well.

The iPad is going to evolve with time, All gadgets do. Demand if this 3d TV takes off then the demand for 3D computers may come about.

Ugly plastic thing and that is hardly innovative really its like a laptop with a bendy screen. Now were have I seen that before?
