I'm a few months away from a Mac Pro.

What GPUs are on this year's horizon, that I should be hoping Apple offers? Anything worth waiting for?

ATI is releasing their X1900XTX soon, Nvidia just released the Geforce 7900GS to consumers.

Next generation Nvidia (G80 or 8 Series) are due in October to November this year, and ATI are due to release their R600 based graphics cards in December.

Looks like those might be worth waiting for.

Does nVidia have Mac control panel software, like "ATI Displays," for turning FSAA on and off, etc.?

I thought they were going to release the X1950 XTX soon? I might be getting confused.

But yeah, the G80 and the R600 are the ones to look forward to. Rumors say that ATI will carry on the naming scheme so the low-end is X2300, mid-range is X2600 and high-end is X2800.
