Looking at external disc readers for mini

Have a 2011 mini and am looking at an external disc drive is this my best option?

It works but so do others. I will post a link. www.newegg.com has at least 5 cheaper ones that will work

I've just got the Air superdrive couple days ago, still haven't opened it. I'm considering using a third party blu ray burner instead.

I have use the apple dvd I have used samsung rosewill and plextor they all work

I went with the Lacie Blu-ray slim external. It's USB powered so it's easy to plug in when needed.

I've got an Apple brand that I found on eBay for $45. My wife seems to have stolen it for her own use (she needs to burn CDs a few times per week), so to keep at work (for my '11 Mac mini) I bought a $29 Samsung slim DVD burner that so far works perfectly.

I probably wouldn't spend the $79 for Apple's drive unless I really wanted the looks (which is not an unreasonable thing, by the way).
