Absolutely :). Reference me: spacemagic.co.uk when you do your order ;)

This isn't the reason why I'm referring you to them. I honestly believe they are the best and they are cheap!

If you go with GoDaddy.com be SURE you are NEVER late on a payment. I made a deposit at my banks after hours depository which they lost and GoDaddy didn't get their payment. Without even calling me or anything they turned me over to a collection agency. Someone at the collection agency then stole and sold my account information (Certegy, you might know of them). Then when GoDaddy got their money from my bank, Certegy still demanded their $25 fee for doing absolutely nothing. The bank paid Certegy the fee and gave me a new account in the end, after many visits and reporting them the the Better Business Bureau.

Needless to say I am no longer a GoDaddy customer.

I use GoDaddy for all of my hosting, they are very reliable...and their phone support is like no other.

Been with them for over two years, downtime is rare and it's easy to use, love them! No need for a referral here, bought a lifetime when they were upgrading servers a while back!

eboundhost.com are really good. Cheap, heaps of space/bandwidth and really fast servers. plus, they have pretty good support, but not a small orange quality support.

Check with your current ISP -- they might have personal web hosting services included in your current service package. As long as you're not moving a hundred GB a month they probably won't care what you do with it. I host a half-dozen small websites on my ISP's 100MB included personal webspace.

Most ISP's do not support PHP or mySQL. Nor do they allow you to use your own domain name.

They don't get recommended on here as often, but I've found siteground.com to be really incredible. $8 a month (cheaper if you do multiple years) gets you 500GB storage and 5000GB traffic, which is a good bit better than when I started with them (had them for about 3 years, storage, bandwidth, and features have all been upgraded I think 6 times). I've been bumped up to a better server three times because they didn't think my site was running as well as it could have been, even though I had never noticed any problems. Never once have they tried to sell me anything additional, though the one thing that seems to be a bit overpriced is the addon domain slots ($30 a year), but I don't have any so it's not an issue for me.

If you're willing to use me as a referrer, click here, if not, click here.
